as a Remote Placement Community Partner (RPCP)

we help welcome newcomers in riverside county…

HMI welcomes refugees through our Remote Placement Community Partners (RPCP) program in collaboration with Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Services (IRIS). This program provides a unique opportunity to build bridges within our community by welcoming newcomers and offering essential direct services.

As an RPCP, we provide comprehensive on-the-ground services for 90 days to ensure that refugees have a smooth transition as they settle into their new homes in the U.S. Some of the key services we offer include:

  • Welcoming individuals at the airport

  • Securing housing and necessities

  • Assisting with school enrollment for children and English classes for adults

  • Providing medical and employment support

  • Orienting our new neighbors to their new community

Want to get involved?

**All RPCPs receive federal funds, virtual training, and virtual coaching to support our efforts.
