Inland Empire Refugee Forum

A Coalition of Asylee, Immigrant, and Refugee Services — offers:

  • A collective voice for refugee related issues

  • Networking opportunities

  • Resources for refugees and service providers

  • A chance to share relevant programs and opportunities

since 2023…

HMI was the first in Riverside County to form and create the first ever refugee forum. The Riverside County Refugee Forum (RCRF) was established to increase the capacity for information-sharing, networking, resource mapping, and programmatic collaboration with key stakeholders at the local, county, and statewide levels.

Objectives:

  • Expanding knowledge and access to health, employment, social, education and legal services.

  • Supporting advocacy efforts through forum-wide networking, information sharing, cross-referrals and community education.

  • Identifying and addressing challenges faced by newcomers at personal and societal levels.

The Ierf Today

Today, HMI has partnered with other organizations within the Inland to continue centering refugee related issues. We currently host the forum on a quarterly basis.
