If you are an Afghan student born between August 1, 2004 and August 15, 2008, here is what you need to know about an opportunity for a 2-year scholarship and residency program from United World Colleges (UWC):
Who is this opportunity for?
Afghan students who are currently living in Afghanistan
Afghan students who are currently living in other countries as refugees
What are the requirements?
Only applicants born between August 1, 2004, and August 15, 2008, are eligible to apply
Applicants must provide a valid Tazkira and a valid Afghan passport
This application must be only the work of the applicant, with no outside help
Must provide a valid e-mail address and a telephone number
A good understanding of the English language
Responsibilities of the Applicant
If you are nominated, you will be responsible for obtaining all travel documents (passport, visa, etc.). Please note: there are no guarantees that a visa will be given. Applicants who do not receive a visa may have their offer to UWC revoked.
Nominated students may be required to travel to a neighbouring country to obtain their visas for their respective schools due to lack of consular services in Kabul. Please note: that this is all the responsibility of the student and their family and the National Committee of Afghanistan can not help.
Parental Consent must be obtained by the applicant
Applications are due Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Kabul time
